Parent Involvement

Temecula Preparatory School encourages parents/guardians and other members within our school community to share their time, knowledge, and abilities with the school in line with our mission to provide a classical education to our students. This can be done through our PTO, Parents and Teacher Support, or PATS.

TPS recognizes that volunteers enrich the educational programs, enhance supervision of students, and contribute to school safety while strengthening the school’s relationships with parents and friends. TPS also encourages parents and friends to serve as mentors in modeling virtuous behavior to help support and motivate our students in fulfilling the school’s mission.

In light of this desire to work with parents and staff members as volunteers, the school strongly encourages parents and staff member to become involved with the parent and teacher organization known as “PATS” (Parent and Teacher Support).

PATS is the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for Temecula Preparatory School (PATS) stands for Parent and Teacher Support; and also happens to be an often used nickname for the school mascot, the Patriot. This organization was started in 2009 by a small group of parents who wanted to make a greater impact in their children’s educational experience. Since its inception, PATS has grown to a 200+ active member organization and continues to grow each year.

At TPS parents are not required to volunteer. We do, however, appreciate our volunteers as they serve the student body and staff with heart and help make the educational experience at TPS even better! They serve because they want to, not under compulsion.

TPS has allocated a room on campus for this active team because it values their partnership and collaboration. PATS has been instrumental in creating memorable, annual events for the entire TPS Community such as: Back to School Event, Fall Festival and more…
