Temecula Preparatory School's high school (9th-12th grade) was awarded a Silver Medal in U.S. News & World Report’s Best High School rankings for 2015. Nearly, 20,000 U.S. public high schools were reviewed and ranked based on specific criteria to produce the national rankings.

U.S. News & World Report teamed with a global nonprofit social science research firm (RTI International) to produce the list of 2015 Best High Schools. RTI implemented the U.S. News comprehensive rankings methodology using key principles, including how well a high school serves all of its students. They also included various academic outcomes that show the high school is able to successfully educate its student body across a range of performance indicators.

TPS ranked #181 out of 2,045 California high schools eligible for ranking and was ranked #942 nationally. Only 556 California schools were awarded a gold or silver ranking and TPS was ranked the highest in Temecula Valley and the surrounding area districts.

U.S. News World & Report has previously awarded Temecula Preparatory School's high school the Bronze Medal on two separate occasions.
