The group of young men who put our CIF varsity golf program on the map ended their final season with a win over Calvin Christian at Reidy Creek golf course in Escondido.  The core group of Tony Colace, Daniel Harrington, Jonathan Hubka, and Jeff Overturf will be broken up as the three seniors graduate and only Overturf returns next year.  New additions that helped make this year the most successful yet were Andrew Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzales, and Rafe Olson.  Andrew, Rafe, and Jeff will keep the tradition going as they head out to the links again next year.  Congratualations to Jonathan Hubka for being invited to the CIF Individual Playoffs.  A big thank you goes out to head coach Gary Naylor for doing a great job of leading this team over the last few years, and to Dave Hubka for always helping out when the need arose.  There is also great appreciation for the hospitality we've received at Temeku Hills.  Temeku Hills has given our golf program many priveledges and we are pleased to have it be our home course.  TPS is proud of our golfing Patriots.  The core players of the last 3 years will be surely missed, and we are looking forward to see who steps up to the tee next year.
