Slated to be available sometime during the 2007-08 school year, the new multi-purpose room, offices, and gymnasium is bringing high hopes to sports teams.  In a year when our only home games were during the soccer and flag football seasons, student-athletes can only imagine what a home gym will do for their championship hopes.  The many hours athletes currently practice is usually at an away facility, shared with other teams and with limited floor space and equipment.  It's estimated that our high school basketball teams alone were outpracticed by other rival teams by at least 50 hours during the season.  Although in most academic affairs, it's a stuggle to get students to work harder, our student-athletes are looking forward to putting many more hours of hard practice in the gymnasium next year.  The gym also brings hope of adding girls volleyball, and ofcourse many other school wide functions.
